Common questions from Inner West
Sydney Kingsford Smith, without question. From Marrickville, you're 10–15 minutes from the terminal. Newtown and Enmore are a short drive or one-stop train to Sydenham, which sits directly on the T8 Airport Line.
Not at opening. Metro West will eventually connect the Inner West to WSA, but it won't be operational when the airport opens in October 2026. In the meantime, getting to WSA means driving or taking a rideshare — around 40 minutes off-peak and $65–80.
